What do you think is the purest expression of inspiration? After opening the store, the operational side of things became increasingly complex, with the daily to-do list seemingly endless. If I didn't stop to take a breath, I almost forgot what the image of the studio that I wanted people to remember looked like. At the beginning of this year, I wrote a note on the cover of my new notebook: "Drawing, not just making products." Important things must be reminded again and again.

Drawing is still my favorite part. When an idea begins to form in my mind, I use a pen to depict the vague shape on the paper and then repeatedly adjust the colors, infusing life into the form on the paper. Sometimes this lengthy process lasts for half a year, and more often the idea only lasts halfway, and I don't have the confidence to complete it. But when my hands touch the slightly raised pigment on the paper and I see the colors reflected under the light, I am deeply moved by the scene.

This Mix edition allowed me to discipline myself to print the color schemes of the patterns into block print manuscripts. I found that the reason why it's called a manuscript is that you can see the colors overlapping between patterns or the misalignment of patterns. But I found that this is my way of resisting mass production. In imperfection, I feel the presence of life.
