The sleek and elongated design comfortably fits at least A4-sized documents and laptops, while the magnetic closure and hidden pockets offer convenient storage for essential items.

The shoulder strap is crafted from NUPELLE® recycled vegan leather, made from reclaimed PVB from automotive windshield film.

We designed the strap with a dual-layer structure for extra thickness and comfort. Its soft suede-like texture ensures a secure grip, preventing it from slipping off your shoulder—even when biking or shopping.
The Story Behind the Sew Print
Jian Jian’s prints are inspired by Taiwan’s urban landscapes—unnoticed textures like corrugated iron patterns and weathered, rain-worn walls.
The Sew print was originally a custom design for the "Or" collective in Hsinchu, a team dedicated to preserving historical spaces such as Or Craft Window, Or Inn, and Or Bookstore. They had undertaken the renovation of Shinshuya, Hsinchu’s first-ever department store—a privately owned historic building approaching its 90th anniversary.
Before my visit, I was already captivated by its unique façade and architectural details. Stepping inside, I was instantly reminded of a scene from The Boys from Fengkuei—a construction site window framing the raw reality of a city.
Buildings do more than store human activity; they silently document history and aesthetic shifts. The beauty we perceive is often just a rediscovery of the past through the passage of time.
That two-hour visit was all I needed to conceptualize the design direction—a print that encapsulates decades of stories embedded in these walls.
Important Note
Each Jian Jian fabric product is cut from a continuous pattern, meaning every bag will have a unique print layout—making each piece truly one of a kind.
